Andrea Ball is the CEO and Founder of Planit World. Her multi-faceted experience includes over 25 years of experience in association management, event planning, publicity, communications, and marketing. She founded PlanIt World in 2007 and serves a diverse clientele, including trade associations, non-profits, and companies from various industries. Andrea was previously employed at Agri/Washington Public Affairs Group as the Vice-President and Sr. Account Director for 11 years before opening her own firm and still serves as their managing partner for agricultural public affairs clients. Andrea is an experienced national public relations consultant, specializing in crisis communications, convention planning, digital media, marketing, public relations, legislative affairs, grant writing/reporting, financial management, and writing. She lectures nationally on business communications, volunteer leadership, and social media strategy. As a nonprofit strategic planning expert, she offers executive coaching, interim executive director services, and board consulting. She was recognized in 2009 by the State Journal as a Generation Next winner, which highlights "40 under 40" outstanding business leaders, and was awarded two “Stars of the Industry” awards for tourism marketing and public relations. In 2016, she addressed the United Nations on The Digital Divide and Women and has been published nationally in trade magazines on numerous topics. She has been quoted in USA Today, the New York Times, and appeared on the Hallmark Channel Home and Family show, and several local newscasts and radio shows. Andrea is a member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), Veterinary Medical Association Executives (VMAE), Sigma Kappa Sorority Alumnae, and the Kansas State Society.
Jacquie Ball is the Director of Operations at PlanIt World and oversees our operations. From client relations to human resources management, she ensures that everything runs smoothly and that we deliver the highest service level, with an attention to detail and commitment to excellence. It's worth noting that PlanIt World is a family business. Jacquie and Andrea have been colleagues since 2007 and sisters since 1976. Jacquie attended Blue Ridge College, where she studied Liberal Arts and has been a part of the PlanIt World team since 2007. Andrea and Jacquie's shared commitment to excellence has helped build a team dedicated to delivering exceptional services to our clients.
Kelsey Nordyke is the Media Relations Manager at Planit World supporting client communications by focusing on media relations, social media support, press releases, and newsletter creation. In addition to being part of Team PW as a freelancer, Kelsey serves as the Agriculture Sciences Extension Specialist for 4-H Youth Development for Southeast Kansas. Kelsey graduated with a Master of Science degree in Animal Science from Kansas State University and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Oklahoma State University. Her joys outside of work include livestock shows with her children, fitness, and volunteering with her church.
Heidi Potucek is the Finance Director at Planit World and focuses on client bookkeeping, billing, and daily account servicing for several PlanIt World clients. Heidi has endless energy and brings a well-rounded, diverse skillset to our operations. She's a certified QuickBooks user and has prior experience in both office management and billing. In addition to making all the numbers add up, Heidi supports PW client events with her public relations and event planning expertise. She graduated from Pittsburg State University and she and her husband, Mitch, own an electrical contracting company. She also juggles the schedules of two busy teen daughters!
Chad Emrick is our Communications and IT Manager. He is a native of Parkersburg, WV and has served over 20 years in in the Army National Guard. He is a Master Sergeant and serves as the ESM Branch NCOIC at the National Guard Bureau. He has trained military personnel at all levels and served as a master instructor-trainer on the national level. In 2010 he graduated from Post University in Marketing, in 2015 he was certified as a US Army Master Instructor, in 2016 he completed the Army Training Course Developer training and in 2020 he became a US Army Contract Officer Representative. Chad contracts with Team PW and handles onsite event audio visual and event logistics for PlanIt World, when he is not serving our country and we thank him for his service.
Jill Spickler is the Support Specialist with a focus on special projects. Jill's roots originated in Texas, where she attended Texas A&M University. Jill currently makes her home in the Mid-Atlantic region in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia and oversees our Martinsburg, WV operations. Jill has previously owned several successful businesses and is a proud mom of two!
Stacie Nelson serves as an Event Specialist at Planit World. Her professional responsibilities include event support, client relations, special projects, and member relations. Stacie attended Southwestern College and graduated with degrees in psychology and elementary education. In addition to holding an elementary teaching certificate, she has also built multiple “mom” blogs with over 100,000 users. Stacie and her husband, John, a veterinarian, have three beautiful daughters and two ornery dogs, Smalls & Max. When she isn’t working, her hobbies include reading, writing, jogging, and crafting.
Colette Bowlby: Colette focuses on special projects for PlanItWorld. Working alongside the PW executive team, she channels her years of customer service experience and tireless energy to "make it happen". In addition to being part of Team PW, she also serves as a part time paraprofessional at a local elementary school. In her free time, Colette attends her son's sporting events, spends time with her husband and three children, their dogs, and is "Mimi" to her two granddaughters. A Canadian by birth, Colette now calls the Midwest, USA her home.
PlanIt World and PW PROjects also works with a great team of talented, part-time consultants who we draw on across the country for legal, CPA accounting, event execution, surveys, convention registration, audio visual, writing, editing, and photography services.
