Andrea Ball is the CEO and Founder of Planit World. With over 25 years of experience in association management, event planning, publicity, communications, and marketing, she has established herself as a multi-talented management consultant. Andrea established PlanIt World in 2007 and has since supported a diverse clientele, including trade associations, non-profits, municipalities, and companies across various industries. Prior to founding her own firm, she served as the Vice-President and Sr. Account Director at Agri/Washington Public Affairs Group for 11 years and continues to hold the position of managing partner, handling agricultural public affairs clients. As a seasoned national public relations consultant, Andrea specializes in crisis communications, convention planning, digital media, marketing, public relations, legislative affairs, grant writing/reporting, and financial management. She is also a well-known speaker on business communications, team engagement, volunteer leadership, and social media strategy. Andrea excels as a nonprofit strategic planning expert, providing executive coaching, interim executive director services, and board consulting. Recognized as a Generation Next winner by the State Journal in 2009, Andrea was acknowledged as an outstanding business leader under "40 under 40". She has also received two “Stars of the Industry” awards for her exceptional work in tourism marketing and public relations. In 2023, she was recognized for her work with the ROC Bus Marketing Campaign by the Southwest Transit Association. In 2016, she addressed the United Nations on The Digital Divide and Women and has been published in national trade magazines on various topics. Her expertise has been featured in USA Today, the New York Times, and an appearance on the Hallmark Channel Home and Family show, as well as in several local newscasts and radio shows. Andrea is an active member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), Veterinary Medical Association Executives (VMAE), Sigma Kappa Sorority Alumnae, PEO, and the Kansas State University Alumni Association. In her free time, Andrea enjoys traveling with her daughter Kate, college football, home renovation, and animal rescue.

Jacquie Ball is the Operations Director at Planit World. She oversees daily operations, member experience, HR, executive support, and digital strategy—driving consistency across departments to support elevated positioning and strategic growth and long-term vision. Her adaptability and precision have been instrumental in building PlanIt World’s credibility across industries. An alum of Blue Ridge College with a focus in Liberal Arts and multidisciplinary studies, Jacquie also brings training in business, paralegal process, and graphic design. She leads all in-house design and collateral development, ensuring every visual and written asset reflects the organization’s premium standards and strategic intent. Jacquie has been with the organization since its founding in 2007, managing complex projects and producing results that drive clarity, confidence, and alignment. PlanIt World is a family business, and Jacquie and Andrea have been colleagues since its inception—and sisters since 1976. Jacquie is a published author and accomplished artist, known for blending strategic precision with creative expression.

Heidi Potucek is the Finance Director at Planit World and focuses on client bookkeeping, billing, and daily account servicing for several PlanIt World clients. Heidi has endless energy and brings a well-rounded, diverse skillset to our operations. She's a certified QuickBooks user and has prior experience in both office management and billing. In addition to making all the numbers add up, Heidi supports PW client events with her public relations and event planning expertise. She graduated from Pittsburg State University and she and her husband, Mitch, own an electrical contracting company. She also juggles the schedules of two busy teen daughters!

Jill Spickler is the Support Specialist with a focus on special projects. Jill's roots originated in Texas, where she attended Texas A&M University. Jill currently makes her home in the Mid-Atlantic region in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia and oversees our Martinsburg, WV operations. Jill has previously owned several successful businesses and is a proud mom of two!

Theresa McBee serves as an Executive Manager at Planit World.  Her professional responsibilities include event support, client relations, special projects, and member relations. With a strong foundation in financial analysis, regulatory compliance, association operations, convention planning, and customer relationship management, Theresa plays a critical role in ensuring smooth and strategic functioning of internal systems. Theresa is passionate about building authentic relationships in association memberships and helping others reach their full potential. Whether guiding clients through complex decisions or improving operations, she leads with empathy, clarity and purpose. She and her husband Joe, a pilot, embrace a love of travel and family centered activities. 

Ruthie Lashier is our amazing PlanIt World intern, who is the PW PRO of research, client call lists, event support, and more. She is known for her academic excellence and active involvement in extracurricular activities at her school. It addition to being an honor student, her participation in Viking Theatre, the WHS swim team, STUCO, and the Viking Voices choir keeps her busy! Ruthie enjoys baking, reading, singing, and traveling outside her academic and extracurricular pursuits. An impressive fact about Ruthie is that she skipped a grade in elementary school, showcasing her exceptional intellectual abilities and determination.
