President and CEO
Andrea is the president and founder of Planit World. Her multi-faceted experience includes almost 20 years of experience in association management, event planning, publicity, communications and marketing. She founded PlanIt World in 2007 and serves a diverse clientele that includes trade associations, non-profits, and companies from various industries. Andrea continues to manage meetings and communications at Agri/Washington Public Affairs Group, where she was previously employed as the Account Director for 11 years prior to opening her own firm. Her past positions include Executive Director at the Martinsburg-Berkeley County Convention and Visitors Bureau, where she implemented two award-winning destination marketing campaigns and conceptualized and implemented Pickin’ In the Panhandle: The WV State BBQ & Bluegrass Festival, and working in communications with the National FFA and several agricultural trade associations. A native of Rock, Kansas, population 89, Andrea now calls the DC suburbs home. Her passions include her two and four-legged family, traveling, politics and college football, especially at her alma mater, Kansas State University.
Jacquie is the Director of Operations at PlanIt World. Her duties include client relations, daily operations oversight & in-house graphic artist and writer. She attended Blue Ridge College, where she studied business and graphic design. Jacquie is also an artist and has been featured by Early American Life Directory of Traditional American Craft, volunteers with a stray cat rescue, and in case you were curious, she is also “lucky” enough to call Andrea her sister & business colleague.
Sarah is a native of Manassas, VA, and her professional responsibilities include event planning assistance, client outreach, special projects, and management of the D.C. office. Sarah attended Longwood University where she majored in Business Administration. She worked previously in the legal industry at Birch, Stewart, Kolash & Birch and with Bozzuto Management Company. Sarah juggles a busy family life that includes her husband, two busy children and two kittens! She is an active alumni with Sigma Kappa Sorority and is a passionate advocate for buying local and farm to table initiatives.
Robin's primary focus is on bookkeeping and client servicing. A native of North Carolina, Robin attended Blue Ridge College and Kaplan University, where she studied Accounting. Robin spends much of her time, volunteering her skills doing tax preparation for the elderly and her leisure time is spent with her horses and furry friends.
Jill is a Support Specialist with a focus on special projects. Jill's roots originated in Texas, where she attended Texas A&M University. Jill currently makes her home in West Virginia with her husband, Jeff, and several furry friends, which include Ziggy, the black lab, who is our official office mascot. Jill has previously owned several successful businesses and is a proud mom of two!
Ziggy's official title may be black Labrador but he also serves as our office mascot and paw patrol. Ziggy, a proud rescue dog, is in charge of employee morale and serves as the official door greeter at our auxiliary office and event storage facility!
